Bill Pullman

Born on December 17, 1953, William Pullman is a prolific American actor, who launched his acting career in 1986. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in theater and was an adjunct professor at Montana State University before he decided to pursue acting. Pullman made his film debut in Ruthless People in 1986, and gained prominence through his performances in Spaceballs, The Accidental Tourist, and The Serpent and the Rainbow. Over the years, Pullman has showcased his versatile acting skills in a variety of films like Newsies, Sleepless in Seattle, Wyatt Earp, While You Were Sleeping, Independence Day, Lost Highway, and Lake Placid. Besides films, Pullman has also marked his presence in the television industry, appearing frequently in TV films, miniseries, and regular series like Torchwood, 1600 Penn, and The Sinner.

In addition to his successful film and television career, Pullman has a commendable stage acting career. He has appeared on Broadway multiple times – most notably in Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? in 2002. Pulman had his education from SUNY Delhi, SUNY Oneonta, and University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree in 1980. Before he started his acting career, he gave back to the community through teaching theater at SUNY Delhi and as an adjunct professor at Montana State University's School of Film and Photography.
