Gregory Buck Kinnear is a renowned American actor who was born on June 17, 1963, in Logansport, Indiana. He was also a former talk show host and has been celebrated for his significant role in an array of movies and television shows. His career began in 1988 and gained huge recognition with his nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in As Good as It Gets (1997). Greg has made appearances on various popular films including You've Got Mail (1998), Nurse Betty (2000), Stuck on You (2003), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), and Misbehaviour (2020) among many others. His television roles are also commendable with performances on Friends, Modern Family, House of Cards, and the miniseries The Stand (2020).

Kinnear was born to Suzanne (née Buck) and Edward Kinnear, a career diplomat for the US State Department, which led him to live in various parts of the world. His career began as a host for his radio show School Daze With Greg Kinnear. He was also the host of College Mad House and the very first host of Talk Soup. His film debut was in Blankman, after which he secured various lead roles in films like Sabrina, Dear God, A Smile Like Yours, and the 1996 comedy David Larrabee. For his role in As Good as It Gets he received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
