She rose to the spotlight with her impeccable portrayal of Jamie Buchman in the sitcom Mad About You, which garnered her three Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards. Her exemplary performance in the romantic comedy film, As Good as It Gets, won her an Academy Award. Besides her admirable acting prowess, Hunt also made her mark in the director's seat, making her debut with 'Then She Found Me' in 2007. Some of her other notable films include Twister, Cast Away, What Women Want, and Pay It Forward. Hunt has also directed episodes of various television series, establishing herself as a versatile industry figure.
