Jack Reynor

Jack Reynor, born on 23 January 1992, is an acclaimed Irish actor known for his compelling roles in notable films such as What Richard Did (2012), Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), Glassland (2014), Macbeth (2015), Sing Street (2016) and Midsommar (2019), as well as series like Strange Angel (2018–2019) and The Peripheral (2022). His life began in Longmont, Colorado, the offspring of an Irish mother and an American father, accompanied by a younger brother and sister. Reynor's acting journey sparked when he played an altar boy on the set of Country in 1999. His profound career breakthrough came in 2010 when Reynor was cast as 'the boy next door', in the live-format, unscripted Dollhouse, directed by Kirsten Sheridan, further escalating to acclaimed performances in feature films and series. Reynor's depiction of Richard Karlsen in Lenny Abrahamson's feature What Richard Did won him an Irish Film and Television Academy (IFTA) award for best actor in 2013. His role as an Irish race car driver, Shane, in Transformers: Age of Extinction, co-starring Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz, was a global success, grossing over $1.1 billion worldwide. His career continued with diverse roles in films like Glassland, A Royal Night Out, and Mowgli, and TV series such as The Peripheral and The Perfect Couple. He resides in County Wicklow with his fiancée, actress and model Madeline Mulqueen, whom he met in 2013 and got engaged to in 2014.
