Jason Momoa

**Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa**, also known as **Jason Momoa**, is a renowned American actor. He made his acting debut as Jason Ioane on the syndicated action drama series _Baywatch: Hawaii_ (1999–2001) and won acclaim for his roles as Ronon Dex on the Syfy science fiction series _Stargate Atlantis_ (2005–2009), Khal Drogo in the HBO fantasy drama series _Game of Thrones_ (2011–2012), and Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) (2016–2023). He also played lead roles in the Discovery Channel historical drama series _Frontier_ (2016–2018) and the Apple TV+ science fiction series _See_ (2019–2022). In the realm of film, Momoa has starred in _Dune_ (2021), the action film _Fast X_ (2023), among others. Momoa's Early years were spent in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was born to Coni (née Lemke), a photographer, and Joseph Momoa, a painter. He later moved to Norwalk, Iowa, post his parent's divorce where he developed his love for acting.
