*Jesse Adam Eisenberg* (/ˈaɪzənbɜːrɡ/ EYE-zən-burg) is an American actor, writer, and filmmaker renowned for his versatility and detail in his performances. Born on October 5, 1983, he made his screen debut in the late 90s, gaining his breakthrough with the film *Roger Dodger* (2002). Eisenberg then moved forward to showcase his talent in movies such as *The Squid and the Whale* (2005), *Adventureland* (2009), and *Zombieland* (2009). His compelling portrayal of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in *The Social Network* (2010) earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor. He continued to work in various genres, from heist films like *Now You See Me* (2013) and its sequel to independent dramas such as *The Double* (2013).
