Josh Duhamel

**Joshua David Duhamel** is an acclaimed American actor who embarked on his acting career with roles in television before transitioning to film. Duhamel's acting journey kicked off with his debut role as Leo du Pres on ABC's daytime soap opera *All My Children*, followed by a starring role as Danny McCoy on NBC's *Las Vegas*. As he ventured into film, he gained notable recognition for his roles in four of the *Transformers* films. His filmography also includes *When in Rome* (2010), *Life as We Know It* (2010), *New Year's Eve* (2011), *Safe Haven* (2013), and *You're Not You* (2014). In 2015, Duhamel made his mark in the CBS crime drama *Battle Creek*, and later lent his voice to the video game *Call of Duty: WWII* (2017). He also starred in the coming-of-age film *Love, Simon* in 2018 and the Netflix superhero series *Jupiter's Legacy* in 2021. Born in Minot, North Dakota, Duhamel's early years saw his academic journey lead him to Minot State University, intending to attend dental school but eventually completing his degree in 2005 despite an initial dropout. His early career saw him working a variety of odd jobs. Apart from his acting career, Duhamel is a spokesperson for North Dakota tourism and co-owns a restaurant in his hometown. He has entered into the arena of series regular roles with *The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers* and has recently played the role of Jacob Lee in the 2022 survival horror game *The Callisto Protocol*. An acclaimed actor, Duhamel's recognition includes winning the title of Male Model of the Year in an International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) competition in 1997 and earning a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award.
