Joshua Ryan Hutcherson, known as Josh Hutcherson, is an American actor who began his acting journey in the early 2000s. He initially appeared in commercials and minor film and television roles before gaining prominence in his teenage years with main roles in movies such as Little Manhattan, Zathura: A Space Adventure, RV, Bridge to Terabithia, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and The Kids Are All Right. In 2011, Hutcherson landed the leading role of Peeta Mellark in the top-grossing film series The Hunger Games, released yearly between 2012 and 2015, earning him three MTV Movie Awards and a People's Choice Award. Aside from his career as an actor, Hutcherson has also expressed interest in filmmaking, serving as an executive producer for Detention, The Forger, and Escobar: Paradise Lost. After The Hunger Games series, he continued his acting career in several independent films, starred in the Hulu comedy series Future Man and the Netflix anime Ultraman, and appeared in successful films Five Nights at Freddy's and The Beekeeper.
