Long's career flourished as he delved into diverse roles, often exploring comedy, horror, and animated genres. Another remarkable achievement is his work in Apple's 'Get a Mac' campaign, where he played a personified 'Mac' in a series of commercials. In his personal life, he was in relationships notable with Drew Barrymore and later with Amanda Seyfried. His current significant other is actress Kate Bosworth, whom he referred to as his 'now-wife' in a 2023 podcast episode.
