Mark Richard Hamill, born September 25, 1951, is a highly celebrated American actor best known for portraying the character Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise, both in the original trilogy and its sequels. Beyond his iconic Star Wars role, Hamill has also distinguished himself by pursuing a theater career on Broadway. He starred in notable productions such as The Elephant Man, Amadeus, and The Nerd. His spectators have witnessed his versatility in film and TV roles such as Kenneth W. Dantley Jr. in **Corvette Summer** (1978), Private Griff in **The Big Red One** (1980), and Arthur Pym in the Netflix miniseries **The Fall of the House of Usher** (2023).
