Sarandon's breakthrough was with the film 'Joe' in 1970, subsequently featuring on popular soap operas 'A World Apart' and 'Search for Tomorrow'. The spotlight was on her for her role as 'Janet Weiss' in cult classic 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'. Since then, Sarandon has been part of several prestigious films including 'Atlantic City', 'Thelma & Louise', 'Lorenzo's Oil', and 'The Client', earning multiple Oscar nomination and ultimately winning for 'Dead Man Walking'. Other notable films encompass 'The Witches of Eastwick', 'Bull Durham', 'Little Women', and 'Stepmom'.
