
1st Screen Actors Guild Awards 1995
The Inaugural Screen Actors Guild Awards aired on NBC from Stage 12 at Universal Studios Hollywood on February 25, 1995. This event marked the debut of the Guild's new award statuette, The Actor, and introduced awards for ensembles in drama and comedy series. From its auspicious beginning, the SAG Awards quickly became one of the most prestigious honors in the entertainment industry.
