Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Enzio Stallone was born in New York City on July 6, 1946, and started his film career in 1968. Known as one of the greatest action heroes in cinematic history, Stallone is celebrated for his roles in the 'Rocky', 'Rambo', and 'The Expendables' franchises. Despite initial struggles in the film industry, Stallone achieved significant acclaim as both an actor and screenwriter with the release of the first 'Rocky' film in 1976. He went on to write, direct, and star in multiple sequels for the film series.
