What's After the Movie
**Terry Alan Crews** is an American actor, television host and a former football player, who exhibited notable performances in TV shows and films including his role as Julius Rock in _Everybody Hates Chris_ and Terry Jeffords in _Brooklyn Nine-Nine_. He also starred in _The Family Crews_, and hosted the U.S. version of _Who Wants to Be a Millionaire_. In movies, his performances span across _Friday After Next_, _White Chicks_, _Idiocracy_, _Blended_, and the _Expendables series_. Terry began hosting _America's Got Talent_ in 2019, expanding his TV presence. Before his acting career, Crews played as a defensive end and linebacker in the NFL for multiple teams, and college football at Western Michigan University. A public advocate for women's rights and an activist against sexism, Terry has openly shared accounts of the abuse his family faced at the hands of his violent father. His courage in speaking out about his experiences with sexual assault during the MeToo movement led to his inclusion among Time Person of the Year in 2017. Following his football career, Crews pursued acting in Los Angeles. His debut acting role was T-Money in the syndicated game show _Battle Dome_. Crews transitioned to roles in commercials, films, and music videos leading to his breakout role in _Friday After Next_. Notably, Crews' performance in _White Chicks_ led Adam Sandler to change a role in _The Longest Yard_ to gift it to Crews.
