Who leads the Interpol convoy transporting the high-stakes prisoner?

Plot Summary

In the scorching savannah of South Africa, an Interpol convoy led by the stalwart Lin (Xu Qing) is transporting a high-stakes prisoner, Keith, when their carefully laid plans are brutally upended. A cunning ambush at a checkpoint decimates the team, leaving only Lin and her quarry alive. As they make their escape into the dusty terrain, the seeds of chaos are sown.

Meanwhile, Travis Conrad (Ethan Hawke), a ruthless hitman with a penchant for violence, spends his days fishing with his father-in-law, Frank (Rutger Hauer), scattering the ashes of loved ones into the ocean. The somber ritual marks the one-year anniversary of their passing, and Travis’ thoughts are consumed by the ghosts of his past. His evening takes a dark turn as he seeks out cocaine at a local bar, only to find himself face-to-face with two thugs who threaten him. The cryptic message they deliver - “Jim wants to see you” - sets off a chain reaction that will change everything.

A lucrative offer from Jim, coupled with the promise of a million dollars per day, proves too enticing for Travis to resist. He travels to Hong Kong, where he assumes the guise of Lin’s son and extracts vital information about her location from his phone. Their ensuing encounter is marked by seduction and deceit, but Travis’ true intentions are revealed when he decides not to eliminate Lin, opting instead to let her live. Her subsequent realization that he is, in fact, an agent sets off a deadly confrontation.

Travis’ demise seems inevitable as Red Mountain’s medical team revives him using their experimental procedure. However, once he reveals Keith’s location, Jim delivers the crushing blow: Travis was brought back to life solely for the purpose of obtaining this information, and his fate is already sealed. Undeterred, Travis turns on his captors, exploiting an opportunity to escape with a scalpel and a hostage - the very doctor who is responsible for his resurrection.

With his newfound freedom, Travis sets out to right the wrongs committed by Red Mountain, driven by a burning need for vengeance. His quest begins when he discovers that Lin’s son has been taken by the organization in exchange for a crucial memory card containing evidence of their nefarious activities. As Travis embarks on a perilous mission to rescue the young boy and bring justice to those who have wronged him, the stage is set for a thrilling showdown between good and evil.

As Travis (insert actor name) navigates the desolate terrain with Lin, they pay a poignant visit to the village where the unsuspecting civilians of Red Mountain once suffered the cruel consequences of experimentation. Their mission is clear: enlist the help of those wronged individuals in exacting vengeance on their tormentors. With Travis’ expertise in prisoner transport protocol, they expertly corner and ambush the convoy, successfully retrieving the young boy who had been subjected to such heinous treatment. As Lin sets out to gather crucial testimony from the authorities, Travis decides to use his final moments to deliberately delay Red Mountain’s pursuit of her. He commandeers a surviving agent’s vehicle, claiming to be the prisoner, and drives it straight into the heart of the base, causing chaos and destruction. With calculated precision, he kills several guards before making a daring escape into the building where Jim (insert actor name) and Wetzler, the ruthless leader of Red Mountain, are holding out. The ensuing battle sees Travis take down every agent in the room, but as he faces off against Wetzler, his anger is tempered by remorse for the lives he has been forced to take. In a poignant moment, he spares Jim’s life, knowing that Jim had been aware of Wetzler’s cruel decision to murder Travis’ wife and son in an attempt to silence him. As the authorities arrive on the scene, Jim seizes the opportunity to exact his own revenge, killing Wetzler before falling victim to a hail of bullets himself.

Travis meets his end, but his spirit lingers, haunted by visions of his loved ones on a sun-kissed beach. He reaches out to his son, only to watch him flee in fear. The sound of a woman’s gentle voice eventually awakens Travis from his reverie, and he finds himself back in the lab where his own resurrection had begun. As reality sets in, Travis’ thoughts are consumed by the weight of his past, and the cycle of violence that has driven him to this point.
