As Chord rushes back to his hideout, Nevada springs Jill free and sets the location ablaze, allowing them to make their escape through a strategically located bunker. As flames engulf the hideout, Chord meets his demise, consumed by the very inferno he had hoped would destroy his enemies.

What, she wonders, lies in store for her if she fails to vocalize any opposition? It is as if fate itself has already begun to answer her query, as the news reports concurrently reveal that the supposed demise of this beloved actress has sent shockwaves through the film industry.
