Born on April 6, 1977, Vigalondo made his mark early in his career with his first film, a 2003 Spanish-language short film titled '7:35 in the Morning' that was merely eight minutes long yet captivated audiences to the extent of earning him an Academy Award nomination for Best Short Film alongside several other accolades.
