Check out what happened in Solo: A Star Wars Story!

As the galaxy succumbs to the insidious grasp of crime syndicates, desperation becomes the sole currency on the planet Corellia. Lady Proxima (Linda Hunt), the cunning leader of the White Worms gang, is fixated on acquiring a rare and highly coveted resource known as coaxium, capable of propelling her operation to new heights. Meanwhile, Han (Alden Ehrenreich) - a young man consumed by his desire for escape from the unforgiving environment of Corellia - finds himself entangled in Proxima's web of deceit.

Han's fortunes change when he stumbles upon a cache of coaxium, which sets him on a collision course with his long-time girlfriend, Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke). Their carefully laid plans for escape are brutally disrupted by the arrival of Proxima's minions, who demand the coveted resource at gunpoint. Han's quick thinking and cunning instincts save the day as he pretends to activate a detonator, bathing the lair in sunlight that proves lethal to the worms. The pair narrowly evades capture, but their narrow escape only leads them further into the treacherous labyrinth of Corellia.

As they navigate the dangers of their surroundings, Han and Qi'ra find themselves at the mercy of an Imperial officer, desperate for a way off-world. Just as freedom beckons, Proxima's goons reappear, snatching Qi'ra from Han's grasp. With his promise to rescue her hanging precariously in the balance, Han is forced to confront the harsh realities of survival on Corellia.

In a last-ditch effort to secure Qi'ra's release and salvage their shared fate, Han takes a drastic step: he enlists as a pilot for the Empire, trading his anonymity for a chance at redemption. His recruitment officer proves skeptical, demanding Han reveal his true name - a request that exposes his vulnerability. In a moment of desperation, the officer bestows upon him a new identity: Han Solo. With his name and purpose forged in the crucible of adversity, Han Solo embarks on a journey that will forever alter the course of his life and the galaxy itself.

As the dust settles on Mimban's unforgiving terrain, Han Solo finds himself in the midst of a brutal conflict, fighting as an infantryman after being dismissed from the Imperial Flight Academy for his rebellious nature. Amidst the chaos and carnage, he encounters Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson), his partner Val (Thandie Newton), and Rio Durant (Jon Favreau), three seasoned thieves masquerading as soldiers. Han's initial attempt to join their ranks is met with skepticism by Beckett, who refuses to be swayed by the young pilot's boasts. Undeterred, Han finds himself at the mercy of the planet's merciless guards, thrown into a pit where he confronts none other than the towering Wookiee, Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo). Initially hostile towards each other, they form an unlikely alliance after Han demonstrates his fluency in Chewie's native language. Together, they orchestrate a daring escape, exploiting the Wookiee's incredible strength to shatter the pit's containment beam and send the ceiling crashing down upon their captors.

As they make their way off-world, the crew settles for a brief respite on the planet Vandor before embarking on their next high-stakes operation. Amidst the warmth of a campfire, Val probes Han's motivations, suggesting his actions are driven by a desire to impress a special someone. Beckett fills Han in on their plan: stealing a substantial cache of coaxium from a heavily guarded train for the benefit of their mysterious benefactors.

The next day, the crew sets its sights on the coveted prize, only to find themselves embroiled in a tense standoff with a band of ruthless Cloud Riders. In the ensuing battle, Rio takes to the skies, but his valiant efforts are cut short when he's gravely wounded. As Val finds herself pinned down at the precipice of a treacherous cliff, she makes the ultimate sacrifice, detonating the tracks and sending the train plummeting to the ground in a fiery explosion. Han, meanwhile, is forced to relinquish control of their ship to the Wookiee, who valiantly tries to hold off the Cloud Riders before succumbing to his own mortal wounds. In the chaos that ensues, Han inadvertently drops the coveted coaxium, triggering a catastrophic blast that sends shockwaves through the desert landscape.

As Beckett (actor name) departs from the scene of his failed mission, he leaves poignant tributes to Rio and Val, a bittersweet reminder of the consequences that have unfolded. His frustration boils over when he confronts Han Solo (), punching him squarely in the face for his role in ruining their chances of delivering coaxium to the notorious Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany), leader of the Crimson Dawn syndicate. With this critical cargo now out of reach, Beckett's worst fears are realized: Dryden will stop at nothing to claim his life.

Han, undeterred by Beckett's ire, proposes a solution that includes himself and Chewie () joining forces to help Beckett secure an alternative supply of coaxium. Reluctantly, Beckett agrees to accept their aid, and the three set off towards Dryden's stronghold.

Upon arriving at Dryden's ship, Han is reunited with Qi'ra, who has been working for her employer for several years. As tensions run high, a gruesome display unfolds when Dryden brutally dispatches an unfortunate soul in his private chambers. The ensuing conversation revolves around the lost coaxium, and Han suggests pilfering a massive stash from Kessel's mines. Dryden consents to Qi'ra joining their venture.

To secure transportation to Kessel, Qi'ra leads them to none other than Lando Calrissian (), a suave smuggler with an uncanny knack for cards. Lando is engrossed in a high-stakes game of Sabaac against various alien opponents. Han challenges him to a match, where the winner takes the loser's ship. Despite appearing poised for victory, Han ultimately falls short when Lando uses a hidden card to claim the win.

Despite this setback, Lando agrees to join their quest, enticed by the prospect of substantial profits. Before departing, they stop to liberate L3-37 (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), a droid who is appalled by the brutal treatment of other droids in a nearby arena. Lando then leads them to his iconic vessel, the Millennium Falcon, and sets course for Kessel.

As the team descends onto Kessel, L3-37 triggers a chain reaction of liberation by releasing captive droids, creating chaos that allows Han and his crew to locate the coveted coaxium. Meanwhile, Chewbacca's keen senses detect imprisoned Wookiees, prompting Han to grant him permission to free them. However, this act of kindness quickly escalates into an all-out battle as the team attempts to escape, only to be met with a hail of blaster fire from the planet's hostile creatures. In the midst of the mayhem, L3-37 suffers a critical injury, and it's left to Lando Calrissian (Kathryn) to intervene and rescue her - albeit at the cost of his own well-being. As the team manages to secure the coaxium on board and take flight, they're confronted by an Imperial blockade, which sends a squadron of TIE fighters to harass them. With Lando injured and out of commission, Han Solo must rely on his piloting prowess to navigate the Millennium Falcon through treacherous waters and evade the Imperial entanglement. The stakes are raised further when the ship is ambushed by a gargantuan space monster that threatens to devour them whole. To outsmart this extraterrestrial menace, Han resorts to performing a daring Kessel Run - a feat he initially claims is impossible in less than 20 parsecs. Thanks to L3-37's clever technology, however, Han and his crew manage to chart their course and narrowly avoid disaster as the space monster meets its demise in the maw of a black hole. With the Falcon safely on the other side of the cosmic whirlpool, Han boasts that he completed the Kessel Run in an impressive 12 parsecs.

As they set course for Savareen to meet with Dryden Vos, Lando Calrissian takes his leave and departs the Falcon, leaving Han to navigate a new challenge. En route, the crew is intercepted by the enigmatic Cloud Riders, who are initially mistaken for marauders by Beckett - until their leader, Enfys Nest (Erin Kellyman), emerges from the shadows to reveal that they're motivated solely by a desire to keep the coaxium out of Crimson Dawn's clutches.

As Han, Qi'ra, and Chewbacca arrive at Dryden's location with the coveted coaxium in hand, they're met with skepticism. Dryden, upon inspecting the sample, declares it a fake, revealing that Beckett had been feeding him false information all along. It transpires that Beckett had been secretly working for Dryden, who had been anticipating Han's plan to sell the coaxium to the Cloud Riders would fail miserably. However, Han had anticipated Beckett's betrayal and had taken measures to counter it. The coaxium in the room is, in fact, genuine, and the Cloud Riders are left empty-handed. Seizing the opportunity, Beckett takes Chewbacca hostage along with the precious coaxium.

In a tense confrontation, Qi'ra overpowers Dryden, ultimately ending his life with his own blade. With her mission compromised, she informs Han that he must save Chewbacca and recover the stolen coaxium, while she will rejoin them shortly. Meanwhile, Han sets his sights on Beckett, who attempts to draw his gun but is met with a swift response from Han's blaster. As Qi'ra disappears into the shadows, she contacts her true master, the formidable Darth Maul (Ray Park), informing him of their failure and being assigned to take over Dryden's position. She departs on Dryden's ship, leaving Han and Chewbacca behind.

Han subsequently delivers the coaxium to Enfys and her team, who offer him a chance to join their ranks but are met with his polite decline. Enfys, in turn, presents them with a sample of the valuable resource. With his priorities realigned, Han seeks out Lando and challenges him to another high-stakes game of Sabaac, emerging victorious this time around. As a result, he secures ownership of the iconic Millennium Falcon. Accompanied by Chewbacca, they decide to head to Tatooine, drawn by rumors of Jabba the Hutt's efforts to assemble a formidable crew for an impending mission. Han then initiates the ship's hyperspace capabilities, propelling them towards their destination as they leave Dryden's treachery in their wake.

As the suns set on Corellia, a youthful Han Solo found himself entangled in a desperate bid for freedom alongside his lover Qi'ra, only to have her spirited away amidst their hasty escape. Three long years of Imperial servitude followed, with Han's rebellious streak landing him in the trenches as an infantryman, a far cry from his former life as a pilot. It was during this period that he crossed paths with Tobias Beckett, a seasoned criminal, and his cohorts Val and Rio Durant, who offered Han a chance to redeem himself by joining their crew. The lure of adventure and the promise of retrieving Qi'ra proved too great, and Han threw in his lot with Beckett's team, only to watch their daring heist on valuable coaxium hyperfuel go awry amidst Cloud Rider ambushes. The loss of life, including Val and Rio, served as a harsh reminder of the unforgiving nature of their line of work.

As Han navigated this treacherous landscape, he found himself at odds with Beckett's enigmatic boss, Dryden Vos, the ruthless leader of Crimson Dawn. In a bid to salvage his reputation and secure Qi'ra's freedom, Han volunteered to help Beckett's crew track down more coaxium, unwittingly setting in motion a chain of events that would lead him to reunite with his former flame and join forces with Lando Calrissian on the Millennium Falcon.

Their perilous quest took them through the treacherous Maw, a labyrinthine cluster of black holes, where they faced off against Imperial blockades, TIE fighters, and even a gargantuan space monster. Han's legendary piloting skills then came into play as he executed the Kessel Run in a blistering 12 parsecs, securing their escape.

As tensions mounted on Savareen, it became clear that Beckett had been playing both sides against each other, with Dryden Vos and the Cloud Riders unwittingly caught in his web of deceit. Han's confrontation with Beckett ended in tragedy, as he dispatched his former ally before he could exact revenge. Qi'ra, however, proved to be a more complex figure, revealing her allegiance to the formidable Darth Maul. Assuming Dryden's mantle, she claimed the late leader's ship and set her sights on a new mission.

With Beckett defeated and Qi'ra vanishing into the shadows, Han turned his attention to reclaiming the Millennium Falcon from Lando, engaging the smooth-talking smuggler in a high-stakes game of Sabaac. Outwitting his opponent, Han emerged victorious, claiming the prized ship as his own. As he and Chewbacca set their sights on Tatooine, they prepared to face off against the notorious Jabba the Hutt, setting the stage for their next great adventure.
