After a gap of twenty-two years post the events of Jurassic Park, a fresh theme park named Jurassic World is now flourishing on Isla Nublar. During their winter break, brothers Zach and Gray Mitchell, sons of Karen and Scott, make their way to the park to visit their aunt, Claire Dearing, who oversees its operations. Claire experiences a bustling day managing approximately 20,000 visitors while Zach and Gray, who are passionate dinosaur enthusiasts, enjoy a VIP access granted to them by their aunt.
To reach the park, the brothers travel from Costa Rica via a ferry that connects to the main attraction area through an electric train. When the park initially opened, there were eight species, but it has now expanded to include eight herbivores and six carnivores. As Claire becomes preoccupied securing sponsorships for a groundbreaking new feature—a hybrid dinosaur named Indominus Rex—her assistant Zara serves as a guide for the eager brothers. The Indominus Rex, designed for more thrill and excitement, combines various dinosaur DNA, crafted by the enigmatic chief geneticist Dr. Henry Wu, who keeps its exact genetic makeup under wraps.
In an attempts to boost dwindling attendance numbers, the park is bent on creating hybrids that capture the audience’s imagination. Their latest creation, the Indominus Rex, is intended to be a spectacular attraction at 50 feet tall. However, its cunning nature is revealed when Owen Grady, played by Chris Pratt, who trains a pack of Velociraptors, warns that the Indominus poses a unique danger as it’s not socialized with other creatures.
As events unfurl, Owen discovers that the creature efficiently escapes its enclosure, leading to chaos across the park. During desolation, the brothers venture off to explore and inadvertently find themselves in peril when the Indominus attacks their Gyrosphere. Meanwhile, Claire and Owen are faced with the increasingly dire situation as the park descends into pandemonium.
When the Indominus Rex starts wreaking havoc, the military’s interest in the creature heightens, with plans to militarize the dinosaurs convolutedly involving Vincent D’Onofrio’s character. A series of frantic evacuations occur as the persistent Indominus breaks free, leading to intense encounters, including a crash inducing chaos among guests.
In the climax of turmoil, Owen rallies to protect Gray and Zach while coordinating a scheme using the park’s veteran Tyrannosaurus Rex against the Indominus Rex. Together with the last standing raptor, Blue, they fight back in a climactic showdown near the lagoon, leading to a breath-taking culmination.
As the survivors escape to the mainland and settle back into their lives, the legacy of Isla Nublar is left in the hands of the dinosaurs, with the majestic Tyrannosaurus Rex once again taking its rightful place as the Queen of the Island.
