Architect and devoted family man Evan Webber (Keanu Reeves) finds himself alone at home with his loyal dog, Monkey, on Father’s Day weekend. While his wife Karen (Ignacia Allamand) and their children enjoy a beach getaway, Evan is tied up with work and recovering from a shoulder injury. He is also responsible for overseeing the moving of Karen’s artwork, which is scheduled for an exhibit at an art gallery, under the watchful eyes of their assistant Louis (Aaron Burns).

During a heavy rainstorm, two women, Genesis (Lorenza Izzo) and Bel (Ana De Armas), knock on his door seeking directions to a party as their phone is malfunctioning. Being the kind-hearted man he is, Evan invites them in to dry off and use his Internet to locate the party. After realizing it’s located in another neighborhood, he kindly offers to arrange an Uber for them, though they have to wait about 45 minutes. To help them feel comfortable, he provides robes for them to wear while he puts their clothes in the dryer.

As they chat, the atmosphere becomes increasingly flirtatious, with the women expressing admiration for Evan’s wife and joking about Bel’s notions on polygamy and threesomes. The playful banter escalates, and before long, Evan finds himself unable to resist their advances, leading to an unexpected and compromising encounter.

The following morning, the reality of the situation hits him hard when he discovers that the pair has vandalized his wife’s sculpture. When he threatens to call the police, they insist they are underage, and a confrontation arises. Entering the scene is Vivian (Colleen Camp), a friend of Karen’s and a massage therapist who had intended to help relieve Evan’s shoulder pain for their appointment. Upon seeing the women, she storms out, leading Evan to a desperately chaotic standoff.

Evan attempts to tidy up the chaos left by the girls, but just as he is making progress on his work, he hears a crash. In an unfortunate sequence of events, Genesis knocks him unconscious using one of his wife’s sculptures. As he regains consciousness, the girls unpredictably confront him, initiating a horrifying game of dominance where they threaten to expose his infidelities and tie him up. The cruel twist solidifies when Evan realizes the sadistic nature of these women, who have turned his life into their personal playground of torment.

Louis unexpectedly arrives to retrieve the sculpture but falls victim to the girls’ antics and ultimately suffers a dire fate. The facade crumbles as the girls’ true intentions become apparent, revealing their history of victimizing men in similar situations. Their machinations lead to Evan being buried alive, a cruel “game” designed purely for their amusement. They film the chaos and upload it to social media, further escalating their sordid entertainment.

In a dark twist of fate, as they leave with Monkey, Evan is left to face the ruin of his life while the chilling realization of their actions sinks in. The scene closes as his family returns, unwitting of the horrors that have transpired. The narrative leaves open an alternate ending where Evan seeks vengeance, using Monkey’s GPS to locate the girls at their next target, a setup that hints at a grim reckoning ahead.
