**Dakota Mayi Johnson**, born on October 4, 1989, is an accomplished American actress. Growing up as the daughter of acclaimed actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, Johnson made her own foray into film at the tender age of ten with a small role in _Crazy in Alabama_ (1999). After graduating high school, she began to land roles in films such as _The Social Network_ (2010). However, it was her portrayal of _Anastasia Steele_ in the erotic Fifty Shades series (2015–2018) that catapulted her into global stardom.
