Jennifer Lynn Connelly, born on December 12, 1970, got her start in the film industry as a child model, and made her acting debut in the 1984 crime film 'Once Upon a Time in America'. After several years in modeling, she focused on her acting career, landing roles in films such as the horror film 'Phenomena' (1985), the musical fantasy film 'Labyrinth' (1986), and the romantic comedy 'Career Opportunities' (1991). Connelly's renowned performance as Alicia Nash in Ron Howard's biopic 'A Beautiful Mind' (2001) earned her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She also starred in many other notable films, including 'Hulk' (2003), 'House of Sand and Fog' (2003), and 'He's Just Not That Into You' (2009). In more recent years, she took on supporting roles in 'Noah' (2014), 'Alita: Battle Angel' (2019), and 'Top Gun: Maverick' (2022). Aside from acting, she was named Amnesty International Ambassador for Human Rights Education in 2005, and has been featured in various advertisements for products from Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and Shiseido.
