Tim Robbins

**Timothy Francis Robbins** was born on October 16, 1958. He is an acclaimed American actor known for iconic roles such as Andy Dufresne in *The Shawshank Redemption*, Jacob Singer in *Jacob's Ladder*, and garnered an Academy Award and Golden Globe for his work in *Mystic River*. Robbins is also recognized for his roles in *Top Gun*, *Bull Durham*, *Erik the Viking*, *I.Q.*, *Nothing to Lose*, and *Green Lantern*. His prowess extends to directing with his successful films *Bob Roberts* and *Dead Man Walking* for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Director.
