This stand-alone film from the Fast and Furious franchise kicks off in London, where a squad of MI6 agents, spearheaded by Hattie Shaw, storm a warehouse to secure a lethal virus called “The Snowflake.” However, they encounter the formidable Brixton Lore (Idris Elba), a cyber-enhanced adversary capable of anticipating attacks, which leads him to easily dispatch the agents. In a critical moment, Hattie manages to inject herself with the Snowflake, evading capture while Brixton cleverly broadcasts that she has betrayed her team to take the virus for herself.

Meanwhile, far from the chaos, Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) are in their respective homes in Los Angeles and London, navigating through their daily lives. The two powerhouses eventually converge at separate nightclubs, where they unleash an all-out brawl against a multitude of henchmen seeking information about the virulent threat. Their search for answers leads them to the understanding that the Snowflake has been engineered by a terrorist organization known as Eteon. However, when their various goons prove unhelpful, Hobbs impulsively tattoos “I Love Cops” on his forehead, while Shaw takes a more drastic approach by hanging his informant from a window.

Hobbs enjoys a quiet breakfast in a diner with his daughter, Sam, before being approached by an old ally, CIA agent Locke (Ryan Reynolds). He informs Hobbs about the dire threat posed by the Snowflake. Although hesitant to get involved, Hobbs ultimately agrees to lend a hand. Similarly, Shaw visits his mother, Magdalene, aka Queenie, who is incarcerated. She fills him in on Hattie’s predicament and implores him to reach out, but Shaw doubts Hattie’s desire to see him. Following this, he is approached by Agent Loeb (Rob Delaney), who encourages him to assist in the hunt for the Snowflake. This culminates in a tense re-encounter between Hobbs and Shaw, as they are ordered to team up, leading to their iconic response of, “No FUCKING way!”

After reluctantly agreeing to join forces, the two muscular leads set out to locate Hattie. While Shaw searches her booby-trapped residence, Hobbs finds her on the streets. The two engage in a fierce struggle before Hobbs ultimately subdues her. Back at CIA headquarters, Hattie reveals her critical situation—she is the virus’s carrier—just as Brixton launches a sudden attack. Shaw recognizes Brixton as a former colleague he believed to be dead. In a high-stakes chase, Hobbs and Shaw aim to rescue Hattie.

The narrative intensifies as they discover that Eteon has smeared their names, portraying them as fugitives. To combat this, Hattie sets off to locate Professor Andreiko, the Snowflake’s creator who possesses the know-how to extract the deadly virus. Hobbs specifies that he has already located Andreiko, leading them to a newsstand where they might find him.

Brixton, meanwhile, returns to Eteon’s lair to enhance his powers further. He discusses their plans with Eteon’s enigmatic leader, revealing a web of schemes designed to control humanity. The trio ultimately tracks down Andreiko, who discloses his unwillingness to cooperate with Eteon, citing their malevolent intentions to unleash the virus on the world. His chilling ultimatum? The only ways to extract the virus from Hattie are through her death or a clandestine facility in Ukraine.

With adventurous ingenuity, they manage to evade detection using Shaw’s equipment, heading to Moscow under assumed identities. During the flight, their banter stirs a sleeping air marshal, Dinkley (Kevin Hart), who senses their mission, lamenting his own lack of action yet offering his assistance.

Upon arrival in Moscow, they seek out Margarita, aka Madame M (Eiza González), who commands a band of female criminals. She equips them with the necessary weapons for infiltrating Eteon’s stronghold. The mission takes a perilous turn when Hobbs and Shaw discreetly invade the facility, clashing with numerous armed guards and ultimately ending up captured. In a tense stand-off, Brixton tries to coax them into joining his cause through brutal interrogation methods. Just when it seems all hope is lost, Hattie concocts a daring plan to turn the tables on Brixton. After intense combat ensues, they manage to discover a means to extract the virus from Hattie, but a series of unfortunate events unfold, leading Andreiko to his demise at Brixton’s hands.

Determined to turn the tide, the trio journeys to Samoa—Hobbs’ homeland, reuniting with his estranged family. Tension runs high as they prepare to defend against the impending Eteon assault, while Hobbs’ mother, Sefina, marshals the troops for the fight ahead.

As Brixton’s forces converge on the island, an all-out brawl ensues. With tactical acumen and raw grit, Hobbs and Shaw’s families fight valiantly against Brixton’s crew. When Brixton seizes Hattie and escapes via helicopter, Hobbs and Shaw join forces again in a dangerous pursuit, employing their vehicles in a spectacular chase that culminates in a breathtaking showdown. Amid chaos, Hattie succeeds in shedding the virus, while the battle reaches its climax, leading to Brixton’s ultimate downfall.

In the aftermath, Hobbs and Shaw visit their mother in prison, slyly delivering a cake imbued with potential escape tools, while Hobbs introduces Sam to his family, setting the stage for a new chapter. As the credits roll, Locke contacts Hobbs again, thrusting him into yet another high-stakes situation involving an even deadlier virus, while Shaw finds himself on the receiving end of a well-deserved prank orchestrated by Hobbs.
