John Tui (pronounced two‑we) is a New Zealand actor of Tongan heritage who has become a familiar face in both Australasian television and Hollywood blockbusters. Born on 11 June 1975 in Auckland and raised in the suburb of Manurewa, Tui discovered his passion for performance at a young age, eventually enrolling at Unitec's School of Performing and Screen Arts where he honed his craft.
