Adrianne Lee Palicki, often ascribed as Adrianne Palicki, is a seasoned American actress and model, remembered best for her protagonist character portrayals, such as Tyra Collette in the NBC sports drama Friday Night Lights (2006–2011), Bobbi Morse in the ABC superhero drama Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2014–2016), and as Commander Kelly Grayson in the Fox/Hulu science-fiction comedy-drama series The Orville (2017–2022). Her career began in 2003, with her breakthrough role in 2004 when she featured as Kara/Lindsay Harrison in the finale of Smallville's season 3. In addition to her starring roles, Palicki has landed numerous supporting roles in motion pictures, namely Legion (2010), Red Dawn (2012), G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), and John Wick (2014).Born in Toledo, Ohio, Palicki's interest in comics was sparked by her older brother, Eric, a comic book writer. In her career progression, she appeared in The WB pilot Aquaman as the evil Nadia. However, the pilot wasn't picked up due to a network merger. In 2010, she joined the FOX television drama Lone Star, which got cancelled after two episodes. 2011 saw her portray Wonder Woman in an NBC pilot, which did not get picked. By 2023, she starred in the Hulu Original film Quasi. Palicki and her brother Eric published their first comic book, No Angel, under Black Mask Studios.
