Michael Madsen

**Michael Madsen**, born on September 25, 1958, is a celebrated American actor known for his numerous collaborations with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. His notable roles in films include, but are not limited to, Reservoir Dogs (1992), Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004), The Hateful Eight (2015), and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). Madsen's career also extends to voice roles in popular video games like Grand Theft Auto III (2001), Narc (2005), the Dishonored series (2012–2017), and Crime Boss: Rockay City (2023). Madsen was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of a filmmaker and author, Elaine (née Melson), and his father, Calvin Christian Madsen, a World War II Navy veteran. His career began at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, where he served under John Malkovich. His first notable film role was in WarGames and he further made his mark as a cruel criminal, Mr. Blonde in Tarantino's debut film Reservoir Dogs. Madsen once declared his choice of roles, stating that some bought his name and face for the DVD box. Other significant roles include Budd in Kill Bill: Volume 2 and featured roles in films such as Donnie Brasco and The Hateful Eight.
