Tara Strong

Tara Lyn Strong (née Charendoff) is a Canadian and American actress widely respected for her comprehensive voice work in animation, video games, and websites. She was born on February 12, 1973, and grew up in a Jewish household in Toronto, Ontario. Strong started her acting career at the tender age of four and had her first professional experience on stage in Limelight Theater's production of The Music Man at 13. Strong's most notable roles include Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The New Batman Adventures, Raven in Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!, Timmy Turner in The Fairly OddParents, Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, and Harley Quinn in the Batman: Arkham video game series. She has lent her voice to Japanese anime such as Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke and played roles in several video games. Her distinctive voice work led to several award recognitions, including an Interactive Achievement Award and multiple Annie Award nominations. In her personal life, Strong married former actor Craig Strong in 2000, with whom she shares two sons; the couple divorced in 2022.
