Alejandro Patiño is a seasoned American actor, born on March 16, 1960, in Santa Maria, California. His acting career spans several decades with activity starting from 1987 and ongoing to this day. Patiño's performance range exemplifies versatility, having worked on many popular television programs and independent films. An example of his many television roles includes a recurring character as Ralph, Gabrielle Solis's new gardener, in the renowned ABC series Desperate Housewives. Additionally, Patiño made appearances in renowned shows like House, Roswell, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development and Family Law. From 2013 to 2014, Patiño diversely portrayed character Cesar on the FX series The Bridge. His wide acting spectrum led him to work on independent films where he took on the part of Ernesto in the film Papi Chulo and dabbled into the role of a cantina bartender in the Coen brothers’ film The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Since 2003, Patiño has also embraced the live comedy scene, portraying the character Bossman in the production Chico's Angels, a parody of the 1976–81 TV series Charlie's Angels. More recently, between 2015 and 2016, he appeared in Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen commercials targeting the U.S. Hispanic market media.
