Brian Earl Thompson, an American actor, was born on August 28, 1959, in Ellensburg, Washington. He made his acting debut in the 1984 iconic movie The Terminator, and rose to fame as a villain 'Night Slasher' in the 1986 movie Cobra. He appeared in the horror series Werewolf during Fox's inaugural broadcasting year of 1987–1988. Thompson played numerous characters in the Star Trek franchise, the most known being the Klingon Lieutenant Klag. Other famous roles include the Alien Bounty Hunter on The X-Files, and Eddie Fiori on Kindred: The Embraced. In 2014, he showcased his multi-talent by producing, writing, and starring in the B-movie parody The Extendables.
Thompson started his acting career while studying in school. He appeared in several musicals before transitioning into film and television. His unique facial structure and athletic build were key factors that landed him roles in the action genre. Thompson continued his successful career, most famously by playing roles in The X-Files, Seven Days, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Charmed. He also appeared in the fantasy film Dragonheart as Brok, the commander of the villainous king’s army. Thompson played the lead antagonist in the film Mortal Kombat Annihilation. The film was poorly received but was a commercial success. In 2014, Thompson produced, wrote, and starred in The Extendables, a parody film. His recent works include roles in the thriller indie film Trafficked and the horror film Hoax. Thompson's first Star Trek role came in 1989 in Star Trek: The Next Generation. He was later cast in three episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise as Admiral Valdore.
