Broderick Crawford

**William Broderick Crawford** was an accomplished American actor born on December 9, 1911, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Known for his potent portrayal of Willie Stark in the film *All the King's Men* (1949), he won an *Academy Award* and a *Golden Globe Award*. He was often cast in tough-guy roles, which earned him recognition in the crime TV series *Highway Patrol* (1955-1959).
