**Bruce Lorne Campbell** was born on June 22, 1958, in Royal Oak, Michigan. An American actor and filmmaker, he shot into prominence with his role as Ash Williams in Sam Raimi's _Evil Dead_ series. His career spans many low-budget cult films like _Crimewave_, _Maniac Cop_, _Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat_, and _Bubba Ho-Tep_.
