Callie Marie Hernandez, born on May 24, 1988, is a highly regarded American actress. She has become quite known for her remarkable roles in movies such as Blair Witch (2016), La La Land (2016), The Endless (2017), and Alien: Covenant (2017). Callie was born in Jacksonville, Florida but moved to San Antonio, Texas at age 7 along with her family. She didn't consider herself an actor starting out, rather she was a cellist who played in a number of bands. She found her love for acting and attended the University of Texas at Austin to pursue this newfound passion, considering Austin as her real hometown.

Hernandez's acting career began in 2013 when she made her debut in Machete Kills. Despite being cast in the ABC television series Members Only which was unfortunately cancelled before it could premiere in 2014, her acting career continued to flourish. Her big break came in 2016 when she played stellar roles in Blair Witch, and more notably in the acclaimed La La Land. Between 2016 and 2017, she became a familiar face on the Epix series Graves portraying the character Samantha until the show ended after two seasons. In 2017, she co-starred in The Endless and Alien: Covenant and was seen in Under the Silver Lake in 2018.
