**Cheryl Hines**, born on September 21, 1965, is an eminent American actress and director, celebrated for her performance as *Cheryl* in HBO's _Curb Your Enthusiasm_ from 2000 to 2024, a role garnering her two Emmy Award nominations. Besides acting, she has ventured into directing with her 2009 directorial debut, _Serious Moonlight_. Before her acclaim in the entertainment industry, Hines was born in Miami Beach, Florida, to James and Rosemary Hines and raised in Catholic faith. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1990 with a degree in radio and television production.
