Clinton Eastwood Jr. is an American actor and film director. After gaining success in the Western TV series Rawhide, Eastwood rose to global fame with his role as the 'Man with No Name' in Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy of spaghetti Westerns during the mid-1960s and as antihero cop Harry Callahan in the five Dirty Harry films spanning the 1970s and 1980s. Eastwood is also known for his directorial work in films like Unforgiven (1992), A Perfect World (1993) and more recently American Sniper (2014). For his film contributions, he has been honored with multiple awards including Academy Awards, Directors Guild of America Awards and Golden Globe Awards among others. Remarkably, at age 74, he became the oldest recipient of the Academy Award for Best Director. He served as the mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California from 1986 to 1988.

Aside from acting and directing, Eastwood is an aficionado of jazz and has reportedly been a health and fitness fanatic since his teenage years. He has eight known children from several relationships and marriages. Eastwood has been in an on and off relationship with Christina Sandera since 2014.
