Cristin Milioti (born August 16, 1985) is an American actress whose career spans stage, film, and television, earning her a reputation for versatility and emotional depth. From her early days in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, she discovered a love for performance at Long Lake Camp for the Arts, a passion that propelled her into school productions at Cherry Hill High School East and later into acting classes at New York University before she left to pursue professional work. Her breakout on Broadway came with the role of Alice Ashbrook in Coram Boy (2007) and later the critically acclaimed performance as Girl in the musical Once (2011–2013), for which she won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and received a Tony nomination. In television, Milioti captured audiences as Tracy McConnell, “The Mother,” on How I Met Your Mother (2013‑2014), delivering a mix of humor and heartfelt romance that cemented the character’s place in pop‑culture lore.
