Edward James 'Ed' Begley Jr. (born September 16, 1949) is a renowned American actor and prominent environmentalist. Best known for his role as Dr. Victor Ehrlich on the television series St. Elsewhere from 1982 to 1988, Begley Jr.'s outstanding performance garnered him six consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations and a Golden Globe Award nomination. Versatile in his talents, he is also recognized for co-hosting the green living reality show titled Living with Ed from 2007 to 2010 with his wife, Rachelle Carson.
