Fisher Stevens

Stephen Fisher, professionally known as **Fisher Stevens**, is an American actor, director, producer, and writer with an extensive career spanning since 1981. He is celebrated for his character portrayals in a variety of films and television shows. His performances include Ben in *Short Circuit (1986)* and *Short Circuit 2 (1988)*, as well as roles in *Reversal of Fortune (1990)*, *Bob Roberts (1992)*, *Hackers (1995)*, *Anything Else (2003)*, and *Hail, Caesar! (2016)*. Stevens has worked in several Wes Anderson films and has notable roles in CBS series *Early Edition (1996–2000)*, NBC's *The Blacklist (2015–2022)*, CBS's *The Good Fight (2017–2020)*, and HBO's *Succession (2019–2023)*. Born in 1963 in Chicago, Stevens kick-started his acting career at a young age of 16 in the horror film *The Burning*. His journey continued on the Broadway stage, where he starred in *Torch Song Trilogy* and the original Broadway production of *Brighton Beach Memoirs*. Besides acting, Stevens co-founded Naked Angels Theater Company and Greene Street Films. He made his significant theatrical directing debut in 2010 with John Leguizamo's one-man show, *Ghetto Klown*. In the same year, Stevens received the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for co-producing *The Cove*. In his personal life, Stevens is a cancer survivor and proud father of two children with wife Alexis Bloom.
