Fisher Stevens

Stephen Fisher, professionally known as Fisher Stevens, is an American actor, director, producer, and writer with an extensive career spanning since 1981. He is celebrated for his character portrayals in a variety of films and television shows. His performances include Ben in Short Circuit (1986) and Short Circuit 2 (1988), as well as roles in Reversal of Fortune (1990), Bob Roberts (1992), Hackers (1995), Anything Else (2003), and Hail, Caesar! (2016). Stevens has worked in several Wes Anderson films and has notable roles in CBS series Early Edition (1996–2000), NBC's The Blacklist (2015–2022), CBS's The Good Fight (2017–2020), and HBO's Succession (2019–2023).

Born in 1963 in Chicago, Stevens kick-started his acting career at a young age of 16 in the horror film The Burning. His journey continued on the Broadway stage, where he starred in Torch Song Trilogy and the original Broadway production of Brighton Beach Memoirs. Besides acting, Stevens co-founded Naked Angels Theater Company and Greene Street Films. He made his significant theatrical directing debut in 2010 with John Leguizamo's one-man show, Ghetto Klown. In the same year, Stevens received the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for co-producing The Cove. In his personal life, Stevens is a cancer survivor and proud father of two children with wife Alexis Bloom.
