Grace Beverly Jones OJ, born 19 May 1948, is a Jamaican singer, songwriter, model and actress. Recognized for her androgynous appearance, she initially pursued a career in modeling in New York and Paris, working with fashion houses like Yves St. Laurent and Kenzo, and gracing the covers of Elle and Vogue. She later ventured into the music industry in 1977 and has been a prominent figure ever since. Grace transitioned to new wave music in the early 80s, and has been commended for her unique, experimental style. Her successful singles include 'Private Life', 'Pull Up to the Bumper', and 'Slave to the Rhythm'. She was also nominated for a Grammy for her innovative music video collection, A One Man Show.
