Harry Lawtey

Harry Lawtey (born 26 October 1996) is a British actor whose career has rapidly progressed from child‑focused television to major international productions. Born in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, he spent his earliest years in a military family; his father served as an aircraft engineer at RAF Brize Norton and his parents, childhood sweethearts from Barton‑upon‑Humber, instilled in him a strong sense of community despite their frequent relocations. At the age of four the Lawtey family moved to Cyprus, where a touring production of Oliver! sparked his fascination with performance and set his sights on acting. Returning to the UK for a holiday, he successfully auditioned for the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School, living as a boarder with a host family in Abbey Wood while sharing dormitory life with four other boys. After completing his A‑levels at Hurtwood House in 2015, he honed his craft at the Drama Centre London, graduating in 2018 and emerging with a solid foundation in classical and contemporary techniques.
