Inma Cuesta

Inmaculada Cuesta Martínez, better known as Inma Cuesta, is a highly accomplished Spanish actress, born on 25 June 1980 in Valencia to Andalusian parents. Spending her childhood in the province of Jaén in Andalusia, she was always fascinated with the arts. At the tender age of 18, she moved to Córdoba to study at the School of Dramatic Art. Post her education there, she further honed her skills in Seville, later moving to Madrid in 2005 for further training at the Conservatory and School of Dance, a performing arts center run by Carmen Roche. Beginning her acting journey with theater, she was given her first break by Nacho Cano in the musical Hoy no me puedo levantar. She then transitioned to TV, grabbing her first starring role in the series Amar en tiempos revueltos. Over the years, she has starred in numerous other television series, films and even participated in musicals.

Cuesta also had her fair share of cinematic glory, starring in films such as The Sleeping Voice, Three Many Weddings and The Bride, and earning a nomination for the Goya Awards as Best Actress for her role in The Sleeping Voice. A few of her widely recognized performances also include Águila Roja and Arde Madrid on television. As well as performing in big screen, she never strayed far from her musical roots, returning to musicals with the show ¡Ay, Carmela! in 2016. She has shared the screen with big names such as Ricardo Darín in the film Kóblic by Sebastián Borensztein. Despite her successful career, she has also managed her personal life successfully. She is a proud mother of two children and is currently in a relationship.
