Isak Férriz

Isaac Isak Férriz Álvaro, born on 20 June 1979 in Andorra la Vella, is a distinguished Andorran‑Spanish actor and director whose career has spanned more than two decades across Catalan, Spanish and international productions. His parents originated from the Gràcia neighbourhood of Barcelona, and the young Isaac spent his childhood shuttling between the Pyrenees principality and the bustling streets of Catalonia, which later informed his versatile artistic sensibility. At the age of eighteen he relocated permanently to Barcelona, enrolling at the Nancy Tuñón acting school where he refined his craft and began to build a network that would launch his professional life. Férriz made his television debut in the Catalan series Laberint d'ombres, a project that showcased his natural charisma and earned him early recognition on the public broadcaster. He quickly became a familiar face in teen dramas such as Al salir de clase, Compañeros and Física o Química, demonstrating a keen ability to inhabit youthful, relatable characters while maintaining a strong screen presence. A breakthrough arrived when he portrayed the legendary 17th‑century bandit Serrallonga in the 2008 miniseries of the same name, cementing his status as a leading man capable of handling complex historical roles. Subsequent performances in Bandolera and the gritty Movistar+ crime drama Gigantes highlighted his range, moving effortlessly from tender romance to ruthless antagonism. In recent years he has expanded into fantasy thriller territory with Netflix's Feria and reunited with director Enrique Urbizu for the series Libertad, again embodying a charismatic outlaw.
