Jacob Tremblay

Jacob Tremblay, born on October 5, 2006, is a critically acclaimed Canadian actor. He became well known for his role as a child born in captivity in the movie "Room" (2015), this role led him to winning the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer. Remarkably, Tremblay became the youngest nominee for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role. He didn't stop there, Tremblay continued to play significant roles such as a child with Treacher Collins syndrome in the drama "Wonder" (2017) and a naive sixth grader in the comedy "Good Boys" (2019). Additionally, Tremblay has lent his voice to characters such as Damian Wayne / Robin in Harley Quinn (2019), the title character in "Luca" (2021), and Flounder in "The Little Mermaid" (2023). Tremblay's acting career started with television roles, but he made his big screen debut in "The Smurfs 2", released in 2013. Tremblay's raw talent was noticed in his phenomenal performance of Jack Newsome in the critically acclaimed drama film "Room", leading to him becoming the youngest actor nominated for outstanding male supporting role at the Screen Actors Guild Award. His other notable performances include his role in the comedy film "Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal: The Movie" and post-apocalyptic comedy series "The Last Man on Earth" on Fox. Beyond that, he also had an unforgettable performance in Doctor Sleep, the 2019 sequel to "The Shining" which brought fellow actors to tears.
