James Urbaniak

**James Christian Urbaniak** was born on September 17, 1963, and is widely regarded as a talented character actor hailing from America. His acting career is marked by celebrated roles such as Simon Grim in Hal Hartley's film trilogy: *Henry Fool* (1997), *Fay Grim* (2006), and *Ned Rifle* (2014). He showcased his versatility in *American Splendor* (2003), playing the role of the legendary cartoonist, Robert Crumb. Besides his film contributions, he's also contributed in animation with his longstanding work on the animated series The *Venture Bros.* (2003–2023), where he provided the voice for the characters Dr. Thaddeus 'Rusty' Venture, Jonas Venture Junior, and Phantom Limb. His other television performances include roles in *Review* (2014–2017) and *Difficult People* (2015–2017). Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, Urbaniak carries Polish descent. He was only 20 when he made his first media appearance in 1983 during *Late Night with David Letterman*.
