Johannes Kuhnke

Kjell Dietrich Johannes Bah Kuhnke (born on 17th April 1972) is an esteemed performer hailing from Strömsund, Sweden. Not only is he recognized for his acting skills, but his singing talents have also gained considerable recognition in the entertainment industry. Johannes has proven his acting prowess across numerous successful movies with his role in the film Force Majeure in 2014 gaining international attention. In addition to this, he has delivered memorable performances in plays like Cabaret and The Jungle Book. Johannes exhibited his singing skills when he participated in Melodifestivalen in 2010 with the song 'Tonight'. He developed a fascination for acting and honed his talents by studying at a theater gymnasium in Gothenburg and then at Teaterhögskolan in Malmö. His career has been eventful and he has graced various stages including Stockholm's Stadsteater, Backa Teater, Göteborgs Stadsteater, Malmö Stadsteater, and Teater Tribunalen. His television acting work includes performances in Ella Lemhagens 'Om inte', Ögat, Järnvägshotellet, Älskade du, Så olika, and Real Humans. In spite of losing out on a significant role in the series Homeland, he bounced back in 2016 with a leading role in the TV3 series Black Widows. He is married to Alice Bah Kuhnke, a prominent Swedish politician.
