Kat Dennings

Katherine Victoria Litwack, known professionally as Kat Dennings, is an outstanding American actress. Born on June 13, 1986, she grew up in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Dennings, the youngest of five children, sparked her career in acting at the young age of 9 by appearing in commercials. Her career took a significant turn in 2000 when she made her stellar debut on HBO's Sex and the City.The actress then proceeded to work in several films like The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), Big Momma's House 2 (2006), Charlie Bartlett (2007), The House Bunny (2008), Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008), Shorts (2009), Defendor (2009), and Suburban Gothic (2014). She is best known for her starring role as Max Black in the popular CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls (2011–2017) and as Darcy Lewis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films. In 2008, she disclosed that while Judaism is an integral part of her history, religion as a whole is not a significant part of her life, indicating a more ethnic and cultural association than religious. An ardent animal welfare supporter, Dennings lives with her cat, Millie, in Los Angeles and abstains from smoking and drinking alcohol. She was in a relationship with musician Andrew W.K which began in early 2021 and the couple got engaged in May 2021. They married at their Los Angeles home on November 27, 2023.
