Kevin Brady Dillon, born on August 19, 1965, is a notable American actor. He gained fame for his roles as Johnny 'Drama' Chase on the HBO comedy series Entourage, Bunny in the war film Platoon, and John Densmore in the musical biopic The Doors. These roles had significant impact in shaping his career and earned him three Primetime Emmy Awards nominations as well as a Golden Globe Award nomination. Born in New Rochelle, New York, Dillon grew up in Mamaroneck, New York. He descended from a family rooted in the arts, his father was a portrait painter, and his family lineage includes comic strip artist Alex Raymond among others. Dillon is mostly known for his Irish American descent.

In 1983, he initiated his acting career, working in television and films. His roles spanned a variety of genres, from portraying Arnold Norberry in the television film No Big Deal to his well-remembered role in the 1986 film Platoon. He continued his career into the 2000s, which included working in CBS series That's Life, Fox series 24, and the 2006 film Poseidon. He has proven his versatility through his performance in the family comedy film Hotel for Dogs (2009) and in Donald J. Trump's Fabulous World of Golf. Dillon had a major step in his career when he participated in the HBO comedy drama television series Entourage for which he gained critical acclaim. He also appeared in the CBS comedy sitcom How to Be a Gentleman and in 2018, participated in the drama film Dirt.
