Lance Reddick

**Lance Solomon Reddick**, born on June 7, 1962, is remembered as a noteworthy American actor. Reddick's standout roles include Cedric Daniels in *The Wire* (2002–2008), Phillip Broyles in *Fringe* (2008–2013), and Chief Irvin Irving in *Bosch* (2014–2020). His filmography extends to successful franchises like *John Wick* (2014–2025) and *White House Down* (2013). Reddick also lent his talent to the world of video games, providing voice and likeness for characters Martin Hatch in *Quantum Break*, Sylens in *Horizon Zero Dawn* and *Horizon Forbidden West*, and Commander Zavala in the *Destiny* franchise. Reddick was born in Baltimore, Maryland, where he cultivated his interest in music and acting at an early age. He eventually studied classical music composition at the University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music and received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Yale School of Drama in 1994.
