Laura Harrier

Laura Ruth Harrier, born March 28, 1990, is an American actress and model. She launched her modeling career at the young age of 17 and moved to New York City to continue her endeavors. She has represented by notable agencies including IMG Models and Wilhelmina Models, and was a face for brands like Urban Outfitters, Macy's and Steve Madden. Harrier was the face of Garnier, establishing her place in the modelling world. However, her true passion lay in acting which led to her studying at the William Esper Studio. She debuted as an actress with her role, Destiny Evans in the 2013 one-season reboot of the American soap opera One Life to Live. Her role as Peter Parker's love interest Liz Allan in Spider-Man: Homecoming catapulted her to international fame in 2017. She also drew attention for her performance as civil rights activist Patrice Dumas in BlacKkKlansman as well as, with her role as Camille Washington in Netflix miniseries Hollywood. Harrier has distinguished herself by being an ambassador for Louis Vuitton and for various other luxury brands such as Bulgari and Calvin Klein. She is known for actively voicing her support for civil rights and equality issues, often utilizing her social media platform to spread awareness.
