He is widely recognized for his recurring role as Chuy in The Bernie Mac Show and for providing the voice to the character Lars Rodriguez in Rocket Power. An interesting aspect of Boyar's career is his military service. Prior to entering the entertainment industry, he served as a forward observer in the illustrious 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army during the 1990s.
